Using the Find Tool for Quick Access

Quickly locate any drug, company, trial, Smart Table, or report in Maven Bio using the Find tool or keyboard shortcut.

When you are mid-analysis and need to pull up a drug profile, check a competitor's trial history, or jump back to a Smart Table you built last week, Find gets you there in seconds. It searches across Maven Bio's entire database and all your saved work.

Open Find

Click the Find button (magnifying glass icon) in the left toolbar, or use the keyboard shortcut: Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows). Type the name of a drug, company, trial, or any saved resource. Matching results appear in a dropdown for quick selection.

What Find searches

Find covers both Maven Bio's ontology (drugs, trials, companies, indications, mechanisms, targets, documents) and your personal work items (Smart Tables, research reports, watchlists, projects). It is available from anywhere in the platform, so you never need to navigate back to a specific page to locate something.

Add entities to a table from Find

If you are building a curated list of specific entities, search for each item using Find. From the entity profile, use the Add to option to include it in an existing or new Smart Table. This is the fastest way to assemble a table from a specific set of assets you already have in mind.

What you can do next

For broader searches where you want to filter by criteria like phase, indication, or geography, use Create Table via Search. To navigate the full toolbar and other access points, see Navigating Maven Bio: Toolbar, Search, Files and Projects.
