Exporting a Smart Table

Export your Smart Table to Excel or CSV with full citation traceability, so stakeholders can verify every data point offline.

When you need to share a competitive pipeline comparison with a colleague who does not have Maven Bio access, or incorporate Smart Table data into a board presentation, exporting gives you an Excel or CSV file with full citation traceability built in.

Export your table

Click the Export button in the top-right corner of your Smart Table. Choose your file format (Excel or CSV) and select which columns to include:

  • All exports every column in the table. You can choose the current page or the entire table.

  • Visible exports only the rows and columns currently shown on screen.

  • Custom lets you manually select specific columns to include, even ones currently hidden from your view.

Verify citations in the exported file

Each exported Excel workbook includes at least two sheets: the primary data table and a Data Sources sheet with cited excerpts, direct source links, and links to the evidence detail within Maven Bio. This lets stakeholders verify any cell value without logging into the platform.

You can also use the download option (top-right) to create shareable links. When a shared link is opened, a copy of the table is automatically added to the recipient's Maven Bio account.

What you can do next

To bring external data back into Maven Bio, see Importing a Table. To share the table directly with other Maven Bio users instead of exporting, see Managing Smart Table Access and Sharing.
