Let's learn how to navigate a report generated with Report Builder. This is how a completed report appears:
You can invoke the Maven Assistant using the Ask About This Report feature at the top-right corner of the screen to ask questions about the report while reviewing it.
In the top left corner under the title, you will see a toolbar that shows the number of steps taken to create the report as well as the number of sources analyzed.
Clicking on this toolbar allows you to view a detailed research log of how the report was built and navigate through the resources used. Each resource is a direct link to the evidence used to create the report, allowing you to quickly review and verify the information.
Further along the toolbar, you will find the Show Blueprint option. Clicking on this allows you to access the blueprint you initially submitted for the report. The blueprint includes the report objective, instructions, each section, and the descriptions provided for each section.
At the top of the report, you will see a navigation bar that allows you to quickly move between different sections of the report.
Each section title (e.g., Study Context and Background, Comparative Study Design and Schema, Strategic Implications and Regulatory) is clickable, so you can jump directly to that part of the report.
This makes it easy to navigate lengthy reports without scrolling.
In the top right next to the Ask about this report you can use the Download option to download the report in Word format with embedded references.
Another option next to it allows you to share the report with other Maven users within your organization.
This is how a Word report looks when downloaded.
Each hyperlink in the Word file leads to a Citation Detail Window on the Maven Bio app. This window provides detailed citation information. It displays the source report, the exact citation text with context, and the evidence supporting the statement.
This view helps you quickly validate the origin and credibility of the information used in the report.
Overall, the report view is designed to give you complete visibility and easy navigation. You can quickly move between sections, access supporting evidence, review the research process, and even revisit the original blueprint used to create the report. These features ensure that every report is fully transparent, traceable, and easy to work with.
