Viewing and Exporting Research Reports

Updated over a month ago

The research report is designed to give you complete visibility and easy navigation. You can quickly move between sections, access supporting evidence, review the research process, and even revisit the original blueprint used to create the report. These features ensure that every report is fully transparent, traceable, and easy to work with. Let’s learn how to navigate a Research Report.

This is how a completed report appears.

At the top of each report is the Table of Contents, which allows easy navigation throughout the document and provides a clear list of all included sections.

Each section title (clickable), allowing you to jump directly to that section.

This makes it easy to navigate longer reports without excessive scrolling.

In the top left corner, you will find the Show Blueprint option. Clicking this displays the blueprint used to create the report. The blueprint includes the report objective, section-by-section descriptions, and the instructions provided to the LLM to generate the report.

Next to the Show Blueprint option, you will see the number of steps taken to create the report, as well as the number of sources analyzed.

Clicking on this opens a detailed research log showing how the report was built. From here, you can navigate through the referenced sources. Each source is directly linked to the evidence used in the report, allowing you to review and verify the information efficiently.

Share button on the far right allows you to share the report with other Maven Bio users within your organization and the Download icon next to it can be used to download the report in Word format with embedded references.

This is how a Word report looks when downloaded.

Each hyperlink in the Word file leads to a Citation Detail Window on the Maven Bio app. This window provides detailed citation information. It displays the source report, the exact citation text with context, and the evidence supporting the statement. This helps you quickly validate the origin and credibility of the information used in the report.
