Manage Access: Control who can view or edit the watchlist—keep it private or share with specific users, teams, or your entire organization.
You can access this through the Manage Access option in the watchlist settings or by clicking the grey tag next to the watchlist title.
This opens the Share pop-up.
The following actions are available within the Share pop-up for each watchlist.
View shared access: See who currently has access to this watchlist
Change roles: Modify a user’s permission (View ↔ Edit) at any time.
Revoke access: Click the delete icon next to a name to remove access. They’ll no longer see the watchlist.
In Search people or teams, find the person or team to share with.
This list includes all Maven Bio users and teams in your organization. You can share the watchlist with specific team members, specific teams, or organization-wide.
Next to Search people or teams drop-down, use the Role dropdown to set permissions: Viewer (can view but can’t edit) or Editor (can change the watchlist configuration).
After selecting a user or team, click Share. Their name will now appear in People with Access. Repeat as needed, then click Done to seal the changes and close the pop-up.
You can also enable organization-wide access. In the same pop-up, find Organizational Access at the bottom. It’s Restricted by default—Select your organization name, then click Done. Once enabled, all Maven Bio users in your org will see this watchlist in their accounts.
You can copy the watchlist link and share it with users or teams who already have access. It’s handy for email or chat references.
Note: The link alone doesn’t grant access—people must be granted access to the watchlist before the link will work for them.
Access Levels :
When you create a new watchlist, it starts out as private—only you can see it and make changes. If you decide to share it, you can give others Viewer or Editor access:
The grey tag changes based on the watchlist access level: grey indicates its private, and if it’s shared with anyone, it updates to a green “Editor” tag.
Viewers can:
View the watchlist and all tracked entities.
View related events.
Set their own email-notification preferences.
Read the watchlist’s name, description, and context.
Viewers can’t:
Add or remove entities.
Edit the watchlist details.
Share it with others.
Delete it.
Editors have full control. In addition to everything viewers can do, they can:
Add or remove entities.
Edit the watchlist’s name, description, and context.
Share it with other users, teams, or the whole organization.
Delete the watchlist entirely.
Share access when you’re ready to align your team on what matters.
Use Watchlist sharing to standardize tracking across teams and stay a step ahead—every day.
